BURLINGTON TRANSIT LEASED HSR MCI CLASSICS - 07/09/08
Burlington Transit has leased 3 MCI Classics from Hamilton
Street Railway for the summer, due to a bus shortage. These
three units will be in service with Burlington Transit and
returned back to HSR in September, to be used on route 51
University. There are only six (6) MCI Classics left in the HSR
fleet, and are expected to be retired shortly.
HSR #8707 is seen at Hopedale Mall in Oakville, on the Route 13

MISSISSAUGA TRANSIT'S NEW BODY SHOP OPEN HOUSE - 06/25/08
Mississauga Transit's New Body Shop was recently open for
business. There was an Open House for the Public on Monday, June
23rd, 2008. The old body shop has been demolished, as
construction is well underway for the new facility at the
Central Parkway Garage. It will be another year untill all
construction will be complete.
Four buses were on the West Side of the Bodyshop, undergoing

RTA 2006 NEW FLYER DE60LFA - 06/25/08
Cleveland RTA's first 2006 New Flyer DE60LFA #2900 Pilot
Bus is seen at Mississauga Transit's Central Parkway Garage,
during a promotional demonstration. The bus is touring the
Province of Ontario, with stops to Hamilton, Mississauga, Durham
Region and York Region. The bus will be returned to Cleveland next week.

ONTARIO TRANSPORTATION EXPO - 04/08/08
The Ontario Transportation Expo 2008 was held at the
Toronto International Centre, on Airport Road in Toronto, ON.
Various Manufacturers had their vehicles on display, including
many companies had their products on display.
Two Display Buses included the Eldorado EZ Rider II for Durham
Region Transit, and Nova LFS for Belleville Transit.
Another two Display Buses included the Orion VII NG Hybrid for
TTC and MTB Rebuilt Orion VI Diesel. (Photos by Jan Boic)
